The Cotton Collection
A selection of sweet tins:
Bottom shelf includes designs by Cora Paterson for Edward Sharp & Sons
Second shelf from bottom are all Dainty Dinah tins.
Richard and Celia began collecting in 1994, they have a very wide ranging collection
which includes items from the 1880s to the 1980s.
Essentially there are two collections as they like different things, Celia likes
Quality Street tins, Peek Frean Biscuits, Bluebird Toffee and other small tins
from the 1950s onwards. Whereas Richard likes designs that are typical of their times,
tins that use women to sell the product and also older tins that have very detailed
decoration. Contact them here
